Painter Mark Martel revels in diverse projects in many styles. His landscapes, wildlife, portraits and figures all turn out a little unique.

Since moving to Hawaii in 2013 Mark has created over 500 original works. The most popular paintings become cards, prints and giclées, found at the Blue Sea Artisans Coop and other island galleries.

Recent commissions include portraits, manta rays and restoration work. His works in statewide shows have won several awards.

Mark’s book based on famous paintings, If the Masters Painted Hawaii, is now in its third edition. In it he paints local subjects in the styles of Van Gogh, Picasso, Monet and many others.
